Staff Pick: 2013 De Martino Viejas Tinajas Muscat

Fascinating complex wine! Traditionally made, bone dry Muscat from certified organic and dry-farmed grapes. Take your time and savour, allowing the aromas and flavours to unwind in the glass. Gloriously floral nose with mandarin oranges, pineapple and the sweet pepperiness of fresh basil. Taste is minerally and citrus with great depth and texture – 6 months spent on skins will do that. Fermented and aged in large clay amphoras with minimal intervention. A singular wine that deserves attention. –Tasted by Christopher C., Marquis Wine Cellars Name: Viejas Tinajas Muscat Producer: De Martino Vintage: 2013 Country: Chile Region: Itata Valley View this wine on here

Staff Pick: 2013 Thieuley Bordeaux Rose

This Cabernet, Merlot blend is an amazing summer treat. Very dry with strawberry and raspberry notes, I can honestly say this is one of my favorite roses. If you are planning a party this summer, this wine is sure to impress your guest. It is probably best to pick up several bottles in advance! Staff Pick: Paul Bara Champagne Brut 2005

Awesome, full bodied, dry and powerful, it’s floral and zesty on the nose, with ripe lemon, toasty brioche and honeyed nuts on the palate. Fine, elegant mousse and great lingering finish. Beautiful now but try it again in 4 or 5 years. Pair with British-style fish & chips (seriously). -Tasted by Duncan Burnside Region: Champagne, France 750ml Price: $60.78 ($69.90 inc tax) 375ml Price: $32.96 ($37.90 inc tax, bottle pictured)
