I’ve nicknamed this wine “The Pig Wine” due to the large porcine animal on the label. Bright, intense red in colour, this wine jumps out of the glass with aromas of ripe red and black fruits. The Alicante Bouschet provide structure and backbone and gives a slight floral element to the wine. This is a great Tuesday sipper but I suspect it will hold up in the cellar for half a decade.
